Hi, I’m Terry Bishop (aka Buffalo Trace).
I have been casting and shooting lead bullets for about 10 years. I have been competing in Cowboy Action Shooting with SASS for about 8 years. My wife, Monica (aka Hell on Heels) and my son, Gage (aka 12 GAGE), also compete. Between the three of us, we have been State and Regional Champions and 12 Gage has been the World Champion in his class. We have shot thousands of my hand cast lead bullets down range. I am recently retired from 35 years in Law Enforcement. My last 3 years, I was the Commander of the Firearms Training Unit of a 700 plus size department. I am a certified firearms instructor and have been an avid hunter my entire life. I hunt with bullets that I cast and love long range shooting. Those years of experience have led me to strive for the best quality lead bullets, and I want you to have the best lead I can cast.
A few years ago we started shooting so much that I couldn’t keep up the amount of bullets we were shooting and was told about Summers Enterprises from other cowboy action shooters. I tried and loved the quality of Donny Summer’s bullets and have been shooting them for about 5 years. A couple of months ago, Donny told me that he was going to sell his business and retire so that he could get back to shooting more. Long story short, I was retiring and decided to buy his business. I already had casting knowledge and spent hours with Donny learning his equipment and techniques. I only live about an hour from Donny and have him on speed dial if I have any issues. If you liked the bullets you got from Donny you will be getting the exact same bullets from me. Same machines, same lead and coating supplier.
